Book Review -> "The Five Love Languages"
I feel that Chapman's "The Five Love Languages" is one of
universal standards for understanding yourself and the
people around you. It makes simple distinctions between
actions and the way different people perceive them.
Basically, he breaks down Love into Five Categories of
action that we all yearn for in some degree. We each have
a primary and secondary language, ways in which we truly
enjoy and receive love and count it as true affection.
When you receive love in YOUR language you really feel
Loved and often you expect others to express their love
in your language too.
Here are his categories:
Words of Affection: Hearing or being complemented
on your best features, best actions or just that you are loved.
You feel appreciated and recognized for who you are.
Quality Time: Spending time with others talking about
deep/complex topics or doing activities together as a team.
You feel deeply connected when you have quality time.
Receiving Gifts: Getting gifts has special meaning to you
and often you treasure them as evidence that you are loved
and who you are loved by. You might look at your gifts to
remind yourself that you are loved.
Acts of Service: You know you are loved when someone
helps you with a task or does a task for you. Their help
proves to you that they deep care for your well being and
will be therefor you in a time of need.
Physical Touch: When you are hugged, held, or touched
you feel a sense of relief and safety. When you are touched
you know you are loved and things are okay for now.
Just notice:
Which Languages you resonate with...
Which Languages you give to others frequently...
Which Languages others give to you often...
Which Languages seem "strange" or "odd"
The people in your life you feel close to probably share at least
one Language with you. Often people that are hard to "get" are
expressing love in a foreign Language and the way they say "I
Like You" isn't getting translated they way they expect it to.
Look for Languages in answers to these questions:
What's some of your best childhood memories?
What's your favorite holiday? Who do you spend it with? & why?
Who's your best friend? What do you do when your together?

Getting Clear on... Who you Are vs. What you do
Self Knowledge is the beginning of the inner journey,
separating who you are from what you do. This
fundamental distinction and the ability to comprehend
the difference is what creates sustainable success and
forward momentum.
For example, I've traveled 4 continents so far with the
intention of making all 7 in my lifetime. What I do is
travel and explore, who I am is restless, persistent,
and curious.
I can count on my restlessness to take me to new places,
I always have it, I always am it. Siting on the sidelines
isn't an option, I'll take up underwater basket weaving
or humongous bubble blowing. I am restless.
I believe in focusing on magnifying the "Am" part, otherwise
know as a persons strengths. Yes, I'm all for lopsided people
doing the best they can at what they're good at. It's a focus
on the freedom to be who you are and staying "On Type".
When people embrace this part of themselves the glow :-)
This is where personality typing and Astrology come into
play in identifying a person's strengths and who they are.
It's shortcut, rather than going on a vision quest, there is
education and books, no needs to reinvent the wheel.
Be your strengths, not your job.
Be yourself, not well behaved.
Be alive, not routine.
Be your "Am"

Why you should use Meetup.com
While facebook and twitter are connecting people through
the internet, meetup.com is bringing people together face
to face. It's sort of the craigslist of social groups.
Today, there's groups for hiking, guitar playing, nerd, tarot
reading, networking, quickbooks, camping, biker rally, board
game, yoga, dancing, scrap booking, wine tasting, volleyball,
singles, improv, and that's all before 7pm!
If you'd like to meet new and interesting people... http://meetup.com
Because these are internet based groups, they expect newcomers,
they know you're out there looking for them and will show up
at their meeting one day.
Best of all most of these groups are FREE!
Check it out this weekend & feel free to check out my group :-)

Creating more Support by Giving Support
In BNI we had a saying... "Givers Gain"
This is true in pretty much any relationship, you're going
to gain more from a relationship when you give to it. When
you're looking for more support, it's important to start
giving more support too.
Here's the trick, you get to choose who you give your support
to but not who you get your support from. That's right, if
you choose to support your S.O. or Family Member they may
not choose to support you back. We are relying on the laws of
good karma to return that support back to you.
Yes, give your support and let go of a particular person giving
it back AND Trust that you'll get the support you need when
you need it.
It's easiest to support the people you already Know & Love.
Your Best Friends, your Family, your favorite Athlete, Movie
Star, Author or Artist.
Become a fan of these people.
Love them
Enjoy Them
Talk to them
Message them
If you're too busy to be a fan of your people...
you'll find people might be too busy to support you.
Have Fun & Play Hard

Be The Mighty You! Past, Present & Future
Still focusing in on fame, let's narrow in on what makes
you famous. Sure, everyone is famous something. I'm sure
in the past you were famous, now you're famous, and in
the future you'll be famous too.
*************************************************************
Breaking it down:
Past Famous:
What were you famous for?
What were your accomplishments?
What was your personal style?
What was your signature?
Current Famous:
How are you larger than Life?
What are your items of Flare?
Who is your posse?
What do you provide that's needed?
Future Famous:
(Take a moment to embrace your Wildest Fantasies...)
(That's right just let them take over... the wild and crazy ones)
What will you do that's unbelievable?
That thing you really want to do but don't believe you ever will.
What will you look like when you're doing it?
Bold? Confident? Crazy? Sexy? Wealthy?
How will this completely change your life?
Who or what will you inspire?
What's a good nickname for that famous future self?
***************************************************************
See that was Fun :-)
No harm done with a little wild & craziness... just imagination :-)
To make this real, bring part of this future famousness into
your life, it could be a haircut, a poster, a new friend or
mentor. Whatever makes this future famous more real,
include that.
Dream On!

Got a Big Meeting Today?
Need a little Extra Power for your Power Meeting?
Then it's time to up your Fame Section!
A little bit about the Fame section of your house/room:
1) It's in the center 1/3 of the South Wall in your House
*For me that's the West wall of the Master Bedroom &
the Master Bathroom & the East Wall of our Media Room
2) Place as Many Red Candles in that Section as possible without
overwhelming the space, use wooden or clay holders & be practical.
*lighting candles is better but not necessary to amplify the section
3) Clean and Straighten your Fame Area. Get it neat, tidy, and
respectable, have it be a reflection of how you want to be seen.
*This for both Upstairs & Downstairs if it's a two story
4) Remove anything with water, blue, black, glass, or metal.
*If this is a bathroom, add extra red, red towels, red wall,
red posters, etc (our shower scrubby is red)
5) Move your Diploma, Credentials, Letter of Recommendations,
and/or Thank you notes to this area.
Dream Big!
